Taras Savchuk, Ternopil volunteer, entrepreneur, creator of the “Waves of Change” BF, received an honorary church award. The “Cross of Freedom” medal was personally presented to him by Metropolitan Nestor of Ternopil and Kremenets.
With this award from the head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Epiphany is awarded for his sacrificial service to preserve God’s gift of freedom and independence.
The “Cross of Freedom” medal is an equilateral cross with a bas-relief image of the Virgin Oranta in the middle, covered with gold and blue enamel on the front side.
The inscription “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” is placed on the reverse side of the medal.
The medal is attached to a metal block, which is a laurel wreath, in the middle of which is placed the Cross emblem of the OCU.
